Early HIV Symptoms
It may happen that a person remain symptomatic during the initial days of hiv infection. There is no symptoms at all in some persons. However this does not mean that he or she is not infected. As a fact that is the time when a person is most likely to transmit the hiv virus to other in the early hiv infected phase i.e 6 to 12 weeks.
This is because once the hiv virus is inside the body, it will start replicating itself. The body launches an attack against this virus with the help of CD4 cells which are protecting army of our body. This is the time when a person can feel the symptoms if any and can be termed as early HIV symptoms.
Early HIB symptoms occurs in a person within 2 to 12 weeks. The symptoms occur not less than 2 weeks before and not more than 12 weeks later after the infected date. There is no documented case where a person has been said to be positive if he showed symptoms after 3 months of exposure (considering there was no other exposure). So when the hiv symptoms do occur they last for 2 weeks or less.
Stress and Anxiety can also develop hiv symptoms mentioned below. So one should always take a test to be 100 % sure.
Early HIV symptoms are listed below
- HIV Fever: Fever associated with HIV is generally associated with night sweats and the fever is generally very high above 100 degree.
- HIV night sweats : Night sweats and fever as mentioned above are associated. Profuse night sweats are said to wet your pillows, your inner's and the bed sheet too. Don't mistake it for hot condition you develop when you take over a blanket while sleeping.
- HIV Swollen Lymph Nodes : Lymph nodes/glands which are the organs of our immune system and swelling of it indicates something wrong with the immune system.
- Rash : Red Rash associated with HIV occurs throughout the body. One or two red spots caused by itching does not indicate HIV.
